Magical Tuscany is the beautiful belle of central Italy. While other regions may boast landscapes and architecture to rival the best of Tuscany, none have Tuscany’s overall combination of stunning scenery, breathtaking cities, pretty villages, wonderful vineyards and rich cultural heritage. Bordered by Umbria to the east and the Ligurian sea to the west, Tuscany’s crowning glory is of course Florence, one of the world’s greatest cities. South of Florence lie the rolling countryside the region is so famous for, dotted with medieval hilltop towns, vineyards, cypress trees, and more fabulous cities like Siena. You won’t be able to see everything that Tuscany has to offer in a single trip. It’s a large region with a huge number of attractions, but as a place to eat, drink, see, relax and see again, you’re highly unlikely to visit Tuscany just the once.
